Environmental responsibility is no longer an option, it’s a necessity. As a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), BDG Architects endorses the guiding principles on which the organization was founded. We promote sustainable development by educating the client through the use of new design concepts that are relevant to the fast changing sustainable market and cost/benefit analysis on a case-by-case basis. BDG Architects’ experience and active participation in industry organizations, including NAIOP, AIA, and USGBC, provides our clients with real-time information associated with sustainable design practices, while assisting them in evaluating the impacts such practices have on design, budgets and schedules. BDG Architects has LEED Accredited Professionals on staff with the experience to take any project from conceptual design through USGBC certification.
Our portfolio of work includes completed USGBC LEED certified gold and silver level projects for a variety of building types, and we continue to promote our sustainable design strategy in the best interest of our clients. In all of our projects, we look for every opportunity to minimize a project’s negative impact on its surroundings and the environment. For a building to be truly sustainable, it must be economically viable and functional for the long term. By working closely with our clients, we design buildings that will stand the test of time, making them sustainable in every sense.
