While juggling her Project Management responsibilities, managing Procore, and coordinating permits, she is always willing to help support every department as needed. She is currently attending school while working full-time for BDG, and steps away from earning her CAPM certification with the PMP certification in sights. When not in the office she loves exploring new restaurants and the outdoors with her pups, Guinness and Tatertot.

Amy’s role with BDG Architects consists of managing interiors for the Birmingham office, programming, space planning, space management, construction documents, consultant coordination, construction administration. She is extremely active in her church and substitute teaches as well. She is also a current Board Member for NAIOP Alabama.

Mickey’s commitment to leadership in the profession has been the driving force behind his extensive AIA participation. Following his term as President of AIA Florida in 2004-2005, he served as the 2007-2009 AIA Florida/Caribbean Regional Director on the AIA National Board of Directors and was then elected AIA Vice President 2009-2011/ Mickey was subsequently elected to serve as the 2013 AIA President, only the second person from Florida to hold that office in the 157 year history of the AIA.

Aside from Scott’s professional life he has worked closely in the construction industry for over 15 years renovating his own investment property and has worked under the guidance of general contractor’s as a rough carpenter, finish carpenter, and an apprentice for electrical and plumbing trades. Stephanie also has a knack for growing plants and is a self-proclaimed houseplant hoarder.

When she’s not working, Susan enjoys traveling, site-seeing, and spending time with her family.

    Suzanne brings over 15 years of experience with extensive research and analysis expertise as well as project management skills to BDG's team. Her background and organizational skills will assist her with the Due Diligence work she will facilitate for BDG's Charlotte office. She loves traveling, preferably to lounge on a beach in the summer or plunge down a ski slope in the winter. In the spring you will find her at home tending to the garden and in the fall it’s all about football.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, serving Jr. High Students at church, studying foreign language and salsa dancing.

    Tang is a licensed architect who started scribbling at the ripe age of 4 years old. She joined BDG‘s team, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience with Revit which made her the perfect candidate to take on the role as our studio’s BIM Manager. Her past experience as a Project Architect includes leading a design team and managing all aspects of each project from client communication to contract negotiation, design solution and the management of project profitability. When she’s not in the office, you can probably find her on a sand volleyball court taking advantage of the Florida sun.

While there, she studied abroad in Berlin, Germany and was able to explore Iceland, Poland and Italy. During her education, she found interest in space organization, mixed-use developments and fabrication play. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, visiting art museums or galleries and playing in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.

While there, she spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona and she was active in the Student Women in Architecture (SWIA) mentor/mentee program. Spanish is Tiffany’s native language, but she is also fluent in English and Italian. In addition to studying architecture, she minored in Fine Arts and enjoys oil painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

His portfolio ranges from healthcare and education projects to commercial projects and multi-family/mixed use projects. Todd previously worked at the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational-Technical School for several years as an Architectural Drafting Teacher where he completely reinvigorated and restructured their drafting program. Todd's hobbies include hiking and camping across the country trying to visit all the National Parks.

    Valerie is the face of BDG Architects in our Birmingham office managing reception functions for our front desk. She is the first point of contact for clients visiting or calling our office as she juggles her various administrative duties to help keep the office running smoothly. Valerie has a keen understanding of the life of a project bringing to the table her prior experience working with an electrical contractor. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her three sons and grandson, whom she refers to as her sunshine.

Fun fact about Vinh, he won First Place in a Vietnamese Idol Singing Contest in Florida.

He is currently pursuing LEED, Autodesk, and Adobe certifications. In his spare time he enjoys photography, videography, and fantasy football.
