Interior Designer/Interior Architect

BDG Architects has an immediate need for qualified Interior Design / Interior Architect candidates to work with a studio team under the direct supervision of a project manager/team leader in the BDG Architects Design Studio in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time position for a licensed Interior Designer or Interior Design Associate (tracking towards NCIDQ Licensure) holding a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or a licensed Architect or Architecture Associate (tracking towards Licensure) holding a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree Architecture (with an experience focus and interest in Interior Architecture/Interior Design) with 5-7 years of experience. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to perform specific/limited portions of tasks using prescribed methods for a variety of interior design / interior architecture and architecture project assignments under the general supervision of a senior project manager and direct working contact with the client representatives. Applicant will participate in the development of functional, sustainable and aesthetic designs with responsibilities that focus on program development, space planning, documents, FF&E selection/specification, development of sketches and renderings and coordination with interior design elements of architecture projects. Other duties will include the preparation of construction documents, documentation of details, coordination with clients, preparation of proposals/contracts and construction administration/observation.
