BDG Architects has an immediate need for qualified Senior Interior Designer to direct a studio team in our Interior Design Studio in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time position for a licensed Interior Designer (State of Florida) or licensed Architect (State of Florida with an experience focus and interest in Interior Architecture/Interior Design) with 6 – 9 years of experience. Corporate and hospitality design experience required. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to manage, direct and perform a variety of interior design project assignments as the direct working contact with the client representatives. Applicant will participate in the development of functional, sustainable and aesthetic designs with responsibilities that focus on program development, space planning, documents, FF&E selection/specification, development of sketches and renderings and coordination with interior design elements of architecture projects. Other duties will include the preparation of construction documents, documentation of details and coordination with clients. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to perform a variety of interior design project assignments under the general supervision of a senior project manager and direct working contact with the client representatives. Applicant will participate in the development of functional, sustainable and aesthetic designs with responsibilities that focus on program development, space planning, documents, FF&E selection/specification, development of sketches and renderings and coordination with interior design elements of architecture projects.
